The three domains are all important
The three systemic domains are all relevant: the ancient Chilean biologist and philosopher Humberto Maturana came up with the idea of dividing our thinking into three interrelated domains: The first has been called differently over time: the Aesthetic/Ethical/Personal Domain. Here you experience a phenomenon and have personal experiences and attitudes towards it. Next is the Reflection Domain and then the Action/Production Domain. In reflection, you consider different points of view and ideas and then choose one direction from which you can optimally act inthe domain of action.
My point is: Three in total, all of which are important. If you act without thinking or feeling, it becomes headless or heartless, you could say. It has to feel good in your stomach; you have to have heard people's different experiences and considerations. If possible, you can then choose one direction to go in all together. Domain theory has been used especially to create reflection in companies, in staff meetings and can also be used in family systems.
It struck me that they are all important. It's important to feel, to think, and then choose to act deliberately. That was my thought for the day. Have a great weekend.
