It is - also - about creating hope

The English Professor of Psychology Peter Chadwick, who himself has well-treated schizophrenia, puts it very well: It's about; where there is hope, there is life, not the other way around. Focusing on hope and the desired life for clients has been a central focus of my work since my internship in 2001. There can be many other interesting focuses in therapy depending on the method, but hopes, dreams and a related practice have long fascinated me. This is where psychologist Allan Holmgren from DISPUK has really inspired me with his vast knowledge of philosophyand psychological change. Especially when faced with hopeless situations where the client is understandably unhappy, it can be an uplifting turning point to aim for hope and connect everyday practice to it.
